    WHAT TO EXPECT

    What is a service like?

Along with a time of singing, we will also have a message from the Bible from one of our pastors and a time of prayer for the needs of our community.

"We moved to Logan without knowing anyone. The New Life Fellowship family welcomed us immediately and even helped us move into our house." – Valory

    WHAT TO EXPECT

    What should I wear?

We believe that God is more concerned with your heart than with what you wear, so feel free to dress casually or in whatever way you’re comfortable.

"We don't feel pressured to dress or act or speak in any special way. We were loved and accepted the day we walked in the door."
    – John and Robyn

  • WHAT TO EXPECT

    What about my kids?

We have wonderful programs for kids of all ages. These programs meet at the same time as our Adult Worship service and are led by outstanding leaders. We have a secure check-in and check-out policy for all ages.

"The worship songs are really good, the teachers make me laugh and I get to help out with the puppets. It is a lot of fun."
    – Ethan

  • WHAT TO EXPECT

Will I have to say, give, or sign-up for anything?

Not at all. We invite you to simply come "check us out" and worship the Lord with us.

"We love New Life Fellowship! We feel like we are at a family reunion every Sunday. The messages are so relevant."
    – Bill and Joan

  • WHAT TO EXPECT

    What else should I know?

You will feel the presence of God in our services through the biblical preaching and energetic worship. Sunday morning services last about an hour and a half.

"I like going to New Life because they have a live band, it’s the perfect length of time, and you can wear what you want. The atmosphere really allows you to focus on God. It’s a great place."
    – Don

BELIEFS
  • The Bible is infallible and inspired by God.

  • There is one true God. He has always existed without any cause or agent bringing Him into being. He is the Creator of heaven and earth. He is the One who rescued mankind from sin. God has further revealed himself as a single being consisting of three interrelated persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  • Jesus Christ, the Son of God has always existed. He became human, lived a perfect life on earth working miracles. In order to restore fallen mankind, He died on the cross as a substitute for the sins of every person. He was raised from the dead by the power of God.

  • Mankind was created good and upright, however, by willful choice ignored God’s instruction choosing to engage in what they knew was wrong and evil. As a result they incurred physical and spiritual death, which is separation from God.

  • The church includes all Christians and has no boundaries as to age, race, gender, or denomination. The church is: to be an agency of God for evangelizing the world; to be a corporate or unified body in which man may worship God.

  • Salvation is deliverance from spiritual death. God provides salvation for all who believe and accept His free offer of forgiveness by accepting His Son, Jesus Christ, as their personal Savior.

  • One day there will be a final judgment in which those who have died without accepting Christ’s salvation, will be raised and judged according to the way they lived. They will be sent to everlasting punishment, which is the second death.

  • All who have accepted Christ and have died will one day rise from their graves and will meet the Lord Jesus Christ in the air. Christians, who have not yet died, will be caught up with them to be with God forever.

  • In baptism by immersion in water. The Lord's Supper, or Communion, is a memorial of Christ's suffering and death.

  • It is God’s plan for every Christian to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit, which gives spiritual power to witness and to live the full, happy, and godly life outlined in the Bible.

  • Sanctification is an act of separating ourselves from evil and identifying with things that are good and morally pure. It is a process that takes place as Christians devote themselves to God.

  • Divine healing from God is an integral part of the gospel.

  • The church includes all Christians and has no boundaries as to age, race, gender, or denomination. The church is: to be an agency of God for evangelizing the world; to be a corporate or unified body in which man may worship God.

Tom and BJ's Story

In May of 2006, instead of Tom receiving his contract for the next school year, he received notification that his department was being shut down at the college he had taught at for 25 years, and he no longer had a job.

Losing the majority of your income is a very fearful thing – especially when you still have the same obligations and bills to pay. This was the beginning of a new phase of our lives – learning to trust God in ALL circumstances. For the next 10 months we spent countless hours in prayer and applying for jobs.

Even through being unemployed for so many months, and having the least income we have ever had, God supernaturally provided finances to allow us to end the year DEBT FREE! Then after ten months, and applying for 128 jobs, Tom was offered a wonderful job as a Laser/Optics Engineer with DuPont here in Logan.

It is truly amazing what God can do when you let Him be in control of your life!

Mike's Story

Around the age of twenty, I almost died from a drug over-dose.

I had some bad experiences while growing up and thought money, drugs, and alcohol would drown away the pain. But it wasn’t working.

One night, shortly after the drug over-dose, I was unable to sleep and I was watching TV. Switching through the channels, I stopped on a Christian program where people were sharing stories of how God changed their lives. There was a story of a man whose life was very similar to mine. He had been addicted to drugs and alcohol but he shared how Jesus had set him free from these things. His life was completely changed by God.

I didn’t know much about God, or even how to pray, but after listening to that man's story I thought if God can help him, then maybe He could help me. So out loud I said, “God if you are real, help me!”

After that night I started attending church and reading the bible while trying to avoid drug use. I was doing well but I was having nightmares almost every night about doing drugs. I would wake up soaked in sweat, feeling very guilty.

Then someone invited me to a Christian crusade in Salt Lake City. The speaker spoke on giving your heart over to Jesus. At the end of the message he invited people forward to receive Jesus in their life. I went forward and gave everything to Jesus.

From that night on the nightmares stopped, the guilt went away, and Jesus began to give me strength to stop living the lifestyle I had been living. Just like that man on TV, I was a changed man. Jesus had set me free.
